Teenager Marcus gives us his review of Club Med Cancun.
Club Med Cancun was an experience that I will never forget. My days were filled with fun, joy, laughter and lots of guacamole. Before the trip, I would look up videos of the resort. When I would click "search" countless videos of sailing, windsurfing, food and snorkeling videos would all appear, each one showcasing the brilliant beauty of this carefully crafted resort. The videos made the resort seem too good to be true. Upon arrival, I quickly realized that they weren't too good to be true, and that in fact, the resort had surpassed my already high expectations. What makes Club Med different from other resorts, is that you can do whatever you want. Personally I enjoyed learning how to sail and windsurf. Each day, I would spend hours enjoying the crystal-clear water.
Another thing that makes Club Med Cancun special is that it is located beside the second largest coral reef in the world. The makes for great snorkeling! Every day, I would snorkel, admiring the brilliant underwater scenery. Filled with colorful fish, spiky sea urchins and bright eels, this reef is truly a sigh to behold. At Club Med, you are able to snorkel with very little restrictions to ensure that you get the best experience possible.
Lastly, no written piece on Club Med Cancun would be complete without talking about the food. The food is full of diverse options, all with great taste. There are three restaurants. First, the buffet. The buffet offers many multicultural options, which is great for big groups, as there is something for everyone. Next up is the Argentinian steakhouse. Here, you can enjoy a variety of delicious steads, accompanied by an outstanding dessert menu. Personally, I really liked the chocolate mousse. Lastly, is the hidden gem of the resort. The restaurant dubbed 'Taco Arte" is perfect if you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine. The menu is filled with a variety of delicious tacos, mexican style steads and much more.
Overall, my experience at Club Med was an experience I will never forget and I hope to be back sometime in the future.
