Is Your Favourite Airline Flying Proud?
Some airlines are doing more to support the LGBTQ community than others - which ones to choose!
Stonewall 50 and World Pride 2019 are starting this week in New York. Our agent Dean has shared with us the airlines that are supporting the community and showing a little flare in the process.
JetBlue - Recently named their newest aircraft 'Shantay, Blue Stay' in reference to the Emmy Award Winning TV Reality series Ru Paul Drag Race.
United Airlines - for those that booked their airline tickets to World Pride and used their United Mileage points, a donation was made to the Trevor Project - provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ youth.
Finally - Virgin Atlantic - are hosting a special Pride flight from London to New York in time for the festival with all staff onboard being part of the LGBTQ community. Onboard staff will host bingo events and live performances!
To learn more about what each airline has offered and why they are celebrating this event read Dean's blog post here - Jetting off to World Pride NYC!
