Contest Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to the contest ‘Nominate an Essential Healthcare Worker’ which is sponsored by Personal Travel Management Ltd of 221-8678 Greenall Ave, Burnaby, BC, V5J 3M6.

The contest will run for the period of April 20th, 2020 to May 18th, 2020.

No purchase necessary

During the contest period, a nomination can be made at www.personaltravel.ca/contest for an essential healthcare worker or first responder, they will be considered the “Nominee”. The person who submitted the nomination will be known as the “Nominator”.

All entries must be submitted prior to May 18th, 2020 at 11:59pm.

All finalist entrants will be verified to meet the eligibility requirements prior to an announcement of the final winner being made.

Essential healthcare workers are those providing emergency mental health and physical medical care to persons with COVID-19 or at high risk of contracting the disease. Emergency first responders are those tasked with responding to emergency situations such as police, fire, ambulance, and paramedics.

Those currently working in the following job categories may be nominated for this contest:

• Emergency and ICU Nurses, Doctors, and Support Staff
• Frontline Patient Facing Hospital and Medical Clinic Staff
• Carehome Workers and Support Staff (patient-facing)
• Mental Health Workers and Support Staff (patient-facing)
• Frontline Police
• Frontline Fire
• Frontline Ambulance
• Frontline Paramedic
• Corrections Services Workers - Provincial and Federal (client-facing)

Essential healthcare workers being nominated must be a Canadian resident or citizen and working in Canada during the competition period.

All nominees must be the age of majority, 19 years, in Canada.

Persons who are employed or contracted to Personal Travel Management Ltd, or employed or contracted to any of the sponsors of this contest are ineligible for making nominations or being nominated.

A limit of one entry per nominator per nominee will be entered per day. The first entry of the day will be accepted, any additional entries will be removed before the draw commences.

All entries submitted prior May 18th, 2020 at 11:59pm will be entered to select 20 finalists. Multiple entries by the same nominator for the same nominee will be removed prior to 20 finalists being drawn. Finalists will be drawn by random number generator only.

The nominator of the 20 finalists drawn will be contacted by a staff member of Personal Travel Management Ltd by phone and/or email to provide additional details of the nominee including but not limited to contact details. Nominators must respond to communication from Personal Travel Management Ltd within 3 days of initial contact, to ensure their nomination remains eligible for being the final winner. All finalist entrants will be verified to meet the eligibility requirements prior to an announcement of the final winner being made.

Where a finalist is found to be ineligible, an additional entrant will be drawn using random number generator until there are a total of 20 eligible finalists.

No later than June 1st, 2020, Personal Travel Management Ltd will, using a random number generator, select the grand prize winner from the 20 eligible finalists. The winner will be notified by phone or email.

The personal details (including name, phone and email) of the nominator will be used in the administration of this competition only. Upon selecting the 20 finalists the nominator is require to provide a method of contacting the nominee. These details will be used to contact the nominee and advise the nominee they have been nominated and are among the 20 finalists. We will confirm with the nominee at this time that they would like to remain in the draw. At no time will their personal details be distributed except to the sponsor of the prize to coordinate claiming of the prize in the event they are the winner.

The Nominee is required to provide both an email, phone number and place of work in the event their nomination is selected as one of the 20 finalists. We will use this information to contact the Nominee about the contest and claiming of the prize if they are the finalist. Personal Travel Management will use the Nominee’s name to verify they meet the eligibility requirements.

The entry under 'Tell us why you are nominating this individual’ on the contest form may be used to promote the contest. No personal identifying information will be used.

You have the option to select ‘yes’ to be included on Personal Travel Management Ltd's newsletter mailing list. If you select ‘yes’ you will be subscribed and have the option to unsubscribe at anytime using the ‘unsubscribe’ feature in the newsletter.

There is only 1 prize to win.

Provided by Anderson Vacations is a trip for 2 adults (the winner and their companion) double occupancy on their ‘5 Day Yellowknife Aurora Borealis Viewing’ tour. Eligible departure dates are as follows and subject to availability at time of booking:

• January 11th, 2021
• February 9th, 2021
• March 11th, 2021

Total value of the tour is: $2,430.00CAD per person double occupancy.
Dates are subject to change at the discretion of Anderson Vacations.

The return airfare is provided by Strategic Private Wealth Counsel from the winner’s nearest major airport to Yellowknife by the most direct route available in economy class. The value for two air tickets can not exceed $3,000.00CAD and any partial use will be forfeited.

The prize cannot be sold, exchanged, assigned or refunded if it is not used. The prize must be accepted as is, with no possibility of substitution, modification or extension. The values are approximate and are not redeemable in full or part for cash, credit, exchange.

• Anderson Vacations reserves the right to confirm on one of 3 departure dates based on load factors
• The spots are non-transferrable and cannot be sold to another party
• Includes land portion only as described in tour description
• Gratuities for driver and tour director are winners responsibility
• Prize cannot be redeemed for cash
• Prize must be during 2021 season

Strategic Private Wealth Counsel:

• 2 x return airfare from contest winners nearest major airport to Yellowknife and return.
• Economy class tickets including 1 checked bag per person and standard seat assignment. Upgrades are the responsibility of the winner.
• Airfare must be booked through a travel agent at Personal Travel Management Ltd.
• Additional charges for changes, additional luggage, meals and personal expenses etc will be the contest winners responsibility.
• Flight bookings are subject to availability.

The contest winner and their travel partner will assume responsibility for traveling with valid government issued identification. They will be required to provide this identification in confirming both tour and flight reservations.

It is strongly suggested the contest winner discuss with a travel agent at Personal Travel Management Ltd insurance coverage while travelling.

Personal Travel Management Ltd and their sponsors for this competition are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by the Nominator, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries. If for any reason an Entrant’s Entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, Entrant’s sole remedy is another Entry in the Contest, if possible. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, the Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, unawarded, eligible prize claims.
