Day 1 - June 18, 2021
Arrive Kelowna
Today join your tour group. For those arriving by air today, we will meet you at the airport. For those that have taken the opportunity to enjoy Kelowna for a few days before the tour, we will organize a pick-up location.
The tour starts with a beautiful lunch and tasting at Indigenous World Winery. Here you will truly taste fruits of the land. The owners are descendants from the Syilx band. They are passionate about the land, nature and the rich history and traditions of the Syilx people. These values that are reflected in the operations of the winery and production of their wines.
After enjoying lunch we will continue to the Sncewips Heritage Museum. The museum collects objects and archives that represent the history and culture of the Westbank First Nation and syilx/Okanagan community. Here we will have a guided tour and time to appreciate the art and artefact collections on display.
Our first night is in Cawston in the Similkameen Valley. The valley comprises of many small towns and is known for its wine production and the abundance of fruit orchards producing tasting and juicy apples, peaches, pears and more.
We will have the opportunity to try the locally sourced food at our Seed to Table dinner tonight. A welcome dinner is included and will be at Row Fourteen, a nearby winery. The chef will source locally produced ingredients then provide a choice to dinner items based on what is available.
Our accommodation tonight is local. The Crowsnest B&B is simple yet charming with exceptionally friendly hosts. Here you will have the opportunity to walk among the orchards and vineyards or enjoy the local hospitality in the dining room.

Day 2 - June 19, 2021
Exploring the Similkameen Valley
From Princeton to Osoyoos, the valley is dotted with orchards and vineyards with towering mountains above. This creates a unique ecosystem where fruit thrives! On our tour today, you have the start of morning free to bike, walk or taste the freshness of the valley. We will then all jump onboard our bus for a quick trip down the road for wine tasting. This is followed with a unique experience to learn more about the wine making process in caves 7ft below ground at Seven Stones Winery. Lunch will be included in the caves for a truly immersive experience!
The Similkameen valley is arid land. However the Similkameen River flowing through the valley, along with the breezy climate provides the perfect temperatures for producing red wine grapes and organic fruits. Here you will find an abundance of ranches, cideries and vineyards. The wineries produce primarily red wines that are light to medium bodied with generous hints of the fruit and terroir throughout the valley.
This afternoon we end the day with two wine tastings before heading back to your Bed and Breakfast. Tonight you have time at leisure. We can help you with some suggestions for dinner.

Day 3 - June 20, 2021
Similkameen to Osoyoos
This morning enjoy your last german inspired breakfast with fresh from the oven baked goods, before packing your wine and yourself into our bus. We will depart Crowsnest Bed and Breakfast and travel the 40 mins to Osoyoos. Here we have the opportunity to partake in a guided tour at the Osoyoos Desert Centre. This tour will introduce you the unique habitat of Osoyoos and the conservation and protection programs in place to preserve this area.
After our morning walk, we will have some tastings at local wineries. Lunch will be served on the patio with a view of the valley. Soak in the vast landscape of vineyards that is possible thanks to modern irrigation systems.
The South Okanagan of which Osoyoos is considered part of, is comprised of Oliver, Golden Mile Bench and the Black Sage Bench. This area of the Okanagan valley has sandy soil and long hot sunny days. This combination makes perfect growing conditions for full-bodied red wines. There are also several lakes in which you can participate in watersports or just enjoy a book.

Here you can personalise you own itinerary. You can choose to relax by the pool or the lake, take a walk in the town centre of Osoyoos or go exploring. We can help provide suggestions for the day.

Day 5 - June 22, 2021
Osoyoos to Naramata
And we are off again! After having breakfast and getting ourselves onto the bus, we head North. The drive to Naramata is approximately 1hr, however there is much to see between these two destinations.
We will first stop at Covert Farms. This beautiful 650 acre property filled with organic produce and grape vines. A tour of this property will share the history of agriculture in the valley. We of course will not leave without trying both the produce and wine that is cultivated on the property.
For the remaining of the day we will slowly make our way to Naramata, stopping first in Okanagan Falls for some wine tastings and a beautiful lunch at Liquidity Bistro.
Upon arrival in Naramata, we will check into the historic Naramata Inn. This heritage building which was delicately renovated in 2020 has 12 rooms, beautiful gardens and sitting areas. The property is a short walk to the beach and dock on Okanagan Lake or for hiking opportunities.
Dinner tonight is at leisure. Our bus will provide a service to/from Penticton and provide restaurant options for your choosing.

Day 6 - June 23, 2021
Explore the Naramata Bench
Enjoy your breakfast at the Inn at your leisure. This freshly prepared meal will start the day off well!
The group will then meet outside the Inn for a short walk to the nearby dock. Here you will board a Pontoon boat and have the opportunity to see Penticton, Naramata and Summerland from the water. Our Pontoon boat will cruise us down the lake to Penticton. Here we will disembark, you will have the time to walk the waterfront in Penticton and discover the little shops for souvenirs.
Our bus will meet us and then it is off for some cheese tasting, wine tastings and picnic lunch overlooking the lake.
Tonight we will enjoy a farewell dinner in the restaurant at the Inn. This meal will comprise of seasonal and sustainable foods, this will be the perfect dinner to enjoy with new friends before bidding goodbye.

Day 7 - June 24, 2021
Depart Naramata
Today, enjoy your breakfast at the Inn at your leisure. Our bus will then be off to Kelowna to drop travellers at the airport for a trip home, or to central location in Kelowna to continue to enjoy the valley. We would enjoy working with you to extend your time in the Okanagan valley, just let us know!
All wineries selected for this itinerary are small wineries with a focus on sustainable farming practices. These are not the wines you are likely to find in your local liquor store. We therefore encourage you to stock up, as included in your package is shipping of 1 case (6-bottles) of wine to your home.
