Shail and I wanted to extend our deepest gratitude for the impeccable trip you planned for us from 28th October to 2nd November. Witnessing the Great Migration, encountering so many animals (not to mention two hunts and lots of babies), the exhilarating Hot Air balloon tour, and reaching Shira Camp 1 on Kilimanjaro were absolute highlights. You nailed it!
Every pickup and drop-off was orchestrated perfectly. The entire experience at Namiri Plains, especially with the Asilia team, was outstanding. The open photography vehicle was genius and was the envy of all other tourists in the backcountry. We loved the food and accommodations. Being remote and all the way on the East allowed us to avoid crowds of Jeeps and be one with the animals. Our guide, Anderson, truly enhanced our time in the Serengeti. His knowledge, enthusiasm, English, charisma, and understanding of animal behaviors were unparalleled. One of the best guides we have ever had.
Furthermore, our hiking guide Charles' vibrant energy made our Kilimanjaro climb memorable. Being led by someone who had done it 300+ times allowed us to relax and enjoy the journey.
While Namiri Plains was a stellar experience, Lake Duluti Lodge fell bit short in terms of staff service and food quality, although the room was beautiful. I know there were only a few options available at the time of our booking. It was a truck back to the mountain but very convenient to our departing flight to the Serengeti. Plus, the town of Arusha had a great shopping.
Once again, thank you for crafting such a memorable journey for us in record time. This was truly a trip of a lifetime. Your attention to detail (where to sit on the plane), combined with the excellent recommendations, made this trip truly special. We will definitely be using your services to bring the rest of the family over to Tanzania on our next trip.

Apart from some coolish and wet weather early on, the trip was fantastic. Our 4 days in Capetown were amazing, so much to see and do. And it was interesting to be in the city when South Africa won the rugby World Cup. The waterfront was a mass of celebrating people. The safari lodges were exceptional but the game drives were the real highlight. We got up close to all of the big five and all the other common (and not so common) African animals. And we really enjoyed the knowledge gained from the rangers and trackers.
It was truly a once in a lifetime experience and we want to thank you for helping make it the best it could be. Take care and wishing you a Merry Christmas.

Yes, we are finally back from our African Adventure to Tanzania, and it was everything you said and much more. The trip you arranged for Shirley and I was perfect and well planned out. The Lemala Camps were well run, the staff were amazing, the Chefs prepared wonderful meals, the scenery was beautiful, but best of all were the knowledgeable guides and the fantastic and abundant animals. We were at 6 different locations and each one of them were very unique, but the best one of all was Nanyukie Lodge. Our accommodations there were outstanding, as were the staff and the meals, and the Sundowners, as well as driving through the Great Migration where we saw thousands of zebras, and wildebeest, and lions and cheetahs, and great herds of elephants, lots of packs of hyenas, dozens of hippos, and on and on. We feel very fortunate to have met you, and very appreciative of your care and attention to all of the details of the trip. We would be more than happy to recommend your services to any people that are considering a trip to Africa.

Everything you planned for us definitely exceeded our expectations. We certainly were surprised by the high quality of Asilia’s camps, coordination with drivers at every transition. We were so pleasantly surprised by how wonderful all the staff and accommodations were. The safari guides were great. The camp staff were so attentive - much more so than we are used to. The amount of food was overwhelming and very healthy and they ensured I had vegetarian and pescatarian options at all meals. We were grateful to always have our drivers / guides waiting for us on arrival, and staying until the planes lifted off, at each location switch. That was so reassuring, especially for our first time to such a foreign adventure. We felt so taken care of. It was all unreal. I think that about sums everything up. We booked our Tanzanian safari with Jen, Heritage Safaris.. I doubt we could have encountered a nicer, more professional service provider. Jennifer was absolutely terrific. She developed an itinerary that included the Tarangire reserve, the Ngorongoro Crater, the Central Serengeti, and the Northern Serengeti. Jennifer's attention to detail was outstanding. The lodgings were superb, the food was excellent, the lodge staff were very engaging, and the two driver guides assigned to us over the course of the seven days were wonderful, with a particular nod to Godwin, our driver/guide for the first four and a half days. His knowledge of Tanzanian history, its culture and the Masai tribe especially, was highly informative. This man has a passion for his country and in particular, the bush. He's also got a great sense of humor. Honorable mention goes to our second driver/guide, Jackson who made sure we saw not one, but two migration crossings across the Mara River, a truly spectacular event. The variety of wildlife we encountered was extraordinary, including lion, cheetah and leopard. For my son & I, this was the experience of a lifetime. I highly recommend Heritage safaris, and in particular, Jennifer Lubey!
