Thank you to everyone who submitted nominations for our contest, we had some beautiful stories. Here are a few:
Care home Worker
She is a hard-working care aide who takes pride in her work. She takes care of her residents to the best of her ability & makes them feel loved. I know this because she used to work at a care home where my parents lived. When I was away on vacation, she went the extra mile & introduced my mom & me to FaceTime, which allowed my mom to see me even though I was away from her for over a week. This made my mom very happy because I usually go to visit her every day
Admitting clerk in Hospital
She has been frontline for getting patients in urgent care registered and settled for the nurses and doctors despite her own health challenges, which put her in the high risk category despite only being in her early 30s. She definitely has a great work ethic and is known as the hand-washing advocate throughout the department she works in.
Nurse
This is a recovered cancer patient turned nurse practitioner at the same very hospital they were treated as a young child. They are the strongest person I know and is so selfless in their desire and passion to give back to the community that helped them recover as a child.
